Asymptotically approaching Nerdvana...

Just for those with a deep internal yearning to know what's going through my head when I rattle off them digits...

3.Well, if you don't know that, you're screwed!
14159Has the 1x1xx pattern, and 4+5=9
89798, 9, and 7 all close to each other, and the x9x9 pattern
8From the pattern right before it, 2^3 = 8
3383Has the 33x3 (inverted paradiddle, if you're a drummer)
2792 + 7 = 9
502Random...maybe an area code?
88Two eights in a row...really!
419Random...maybe an area code?
716Similar to the pattern before it, random x1x area code
9399Has the 9x99 (paradiddle, if you're a drummer)
105Random, but like the one before is a xx5 pattern
8Just doesn't fit any pattern
209Random...maybe an area code?
7497 squared = 49, and also xx9 pattern like one before
44594 + 5 = 9, and ends in 9 like last two patterns
816481 and 64 both perfect squares
06280 + 6 + 2 = 8
6208Same digits as last pattern, messed around, 6 + 2 + 0 = 8
99Two nine's in a row
8628 - 6 = 2, and these are the three non-zero digits from two patterns ago
8034Random, but like the pattern before, a sequence starting with 8
825Random, but like the two previous patterns, starts with 8
70679Has that 7xx7x pattern
82148 preceding Dallas' area code
80Another pattern starting with 8, like the previous one and the previous sequence of patterns
86518 preceding 6 - 5 = 1. Another sequence of three patterns starting with 8
32823Palindrome, and 8 = 2^3
06647664 is a common telephone prefix where I live. Kind of random

I find it easier to memorize lots of this (especially the "random" bits) because, ever since I was a child, I have associated certain colors with the digits and letters of the alphabet. They sometimes change, depending on what other numbers they are around, but more or less, here are the colors I think of the numbers as being when they are by themselves:

You'll notice that they more or less go in "rainbow order". I don't know why this is. The same pattern can be found in my images of the alphabet. I just know that as far as I can remember, I have always had this association. I tend to see the letter or number floating on black in whatever color it is I associate it with. This leads to my finding certain patterns more pleasing to the mind than others (825 is nice - makes me think of Christmas, while 06647 is downright ugly and 70's-like, and 161 has always grated on my nerves because it makes me think of two scoops of vanilla ice cream and one of orange sherbet, which just seems like a really bad flavor combination...oh well). Regardless, I think seeing colors helps me to memorize things more easily.
