Asymptotically approaching Nerdvana...

Just for those with a deep internal yearning to know what's going through my head when I rattle off them digits...

06647664 is a common telephone prefix where I live. Kind of random

I find it easier to memorize lots of this (especially the "random" bits) because, ever since I was a child, I have associated certain colors with the digits and letters of the alphabet. They sometimes change, depending on what other numbers they are around, but more or less, here are the colors I think of the numbers as being when they are by themselves:

You'll notice that they more or less go in "rainbow order". I don't know why this is. The same pattern can be found in my images of the alphabet. I just know that as far as I can remember, I have always had this association. I tend to see the letter or number floating on black in whatever color it is I associate it with. This leads to my finding certain patterns more pleasing to the mind than others (825 is nice - makes me think of Christmas, while 06647 is downright ugly and 70's-like, and 161 has always grated on my nerves because it makes me think of two scoops of vanilla ice cream and one of orange sherbet, which just seems like a really bad flavor combination...oh well). Regardless, I think seeing colors helps me to memorize things more easily.
